At first it sounded like it, but then John McCain retracted his statement that if he can’t convince the nation Iraq is succeeding he will “lose”. It is a turn around from a couple of months ago, when McCain said the country would be fine with our troops in Iraq for 100 years. Of course I can’t help but think he still believes that.
