While Sarah Palin has been out giving her 10,000,000,000 post-election interview, her state has been going to hell in a hand basket.

Today a group of Alaskan natives files lawsuit against the Jesuits, claiming they been dropping their pedophile priests in remote part of Alaska:

Attorney Ken Roosa announced the lawsuit at a chilly press conference outside Seattle University this morning and said, as of today, he knows of 345 cases of molestation, only two of them against non-natives.

The Jesuits, he said, sent known pedophiles to isolated Alaskan villages—many of them only accessible by boat or plane—to let them abuse children with impunity.

“It was a pedophile’s paradise,” Roosa said. “We are going to shine some light on a dark and dirty corner of the Jesuit order.”

If this claim proves to be true, then people need to ask why the state didn’t step in to protect it’s children.

But that isn’t the only problem coming out of Alaska today. Here’s another report:

A combination of extreme cold and high fuel prices has created a humanitarian crisis for the village of Emmonak, according to resident Nicholas Tucker.

In a letter sent out as a cry for help, Tucker describes economic conditions in which families are rationing food and warmth for themselves and their children in the Southwest Alaska village of 800.

The situation could easily worsen — extreme cold that arrived early this winter and stuck around means heating fuel must soon be flown in, which residents fear will push the price from $7.83 per gallon to $9 a gallon or more.

So little miss perfect Sarah has a third world nation developing right in her own state, and she seems oblivious to it. Just think if this walking disaster made it to the office of vice-President, or President.
