For the past couple of weeks I have noticed very slow loading times on some of my favorite blogs. It turns out the slowness has been Haloscan. Its taking up to 20 seconds for my browser to even connect with them. This has to be killing their traffic. If any of those bloggers read this, I hope you seriously consider moving over to Disqus. They offer so much more and don’t try to get money out of you – plus the site loads a lot better.
