Herman Cain has a serious race problem. This became more evident yesterday on Face the Nation (via Think Progress):

BOB SCHIEFFER: Okay. I want to ask you, since we’re on the subject of abortion, it was at one point back there when the question of Planned Parenthood came up and you said that it was not Planned Parenthood, it was really planned genocide. Because you said Planned Parenthood was trying to put all these centers into the Black communities because they wanted to kill Black babies–

CAIN (overlapping): Yes.

SCHIEFFER: –before they were born. You still stand by that?

CAIN: I still stand by that.

SCHIEFFER: Do you have any proof that that was the objective of Planned Parenthood?

CAIN: If people go back and look at the history and look at Margaret Sanger’s own words, that’s exactly where that came from. Look– look up the history. So if you go back and look up the history– secondly, look at where most of them were built. Seventy-five percent of those facilities were built in the Black community.

As with most Republicans Cain’s numbers are not backed by fact, but rather totally made up. Fewer than 10% of the nation’s abortion clinics are located in predominately black neighborhoods. Also studies show that far more whites receive abortions than blacks, jabbing another hole in Cain’s notion.

There’s also more to this than the flat out false figures Cain is pushing. Cain has been on this whisper campaign suggesting that the left doesn’t like black people. It started last week when old articles Cain wrote about social security started to surface:

It is now evident that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 did not apply to the Social Security system. Due to the rising retirement age, differences in life expectancy between Blacks and Whites, and mandatory payroll tax deductions, the system by its very nature discriminates against black men and women.

This built-in discrimination has been present since 1935 when Social Security was established. The original retirement age to begin receiving Social Security benefits was set at 65 years. Black women in 1935 lived to an average age of 55, and black men to the age of 51. Our white brothers did not fare much better, since they were expected to live just 61 years.

This disparity in life expectancy still exists, but unfortunately so does the discriminatory nature of Social Security. Black males today have an average life expectancy of 68 years, yet Congress continues to raise the retirement age. The current structure simply cannot afford to send monthly checks to all citizens over the age of 65. That is a mathematical fact, and a dirty little secret Congressional Democrats do not want you to know.

To compound the discrimination, your mandatory payroll tax deductions do not go to your heirs when you die, but to people you do not even know. Under the current Social Security structure, deceased black men essentially fund a large percentage of the retirement income of elderly white women, since they live the longest to nearly 80 years on average.

Essentially Cain is saying that Social Security isn’t fair unless black’s are given it ten years earlier than whites and Cain flat out blamed the Democrats for this:

Instead, black Democratic leaders are willing to see the next generation of Blacks remain in economic slavery on the Democratic plantation, so long as they can deny any Republican a perceived political victory.

At least with separate water fountains blacks and whites each had water to drink. If we start now, we can end the discrimination in Social Security by demanding that Congress enact an optional system of personal retirement accounts. If we do not act now, there will be only one retirement water fountain for our grandchildren. It will not be marked “White” or “Colored”. It will be marked “Out of Order” for all of them.

75% of African Americans identify as Democrat while only 7% claim Republican. Apparently that 75% are a bunch of morons too according to Cain. I mean this vast, vast majority of blacks support a party that wants to keep them enslaved and even kill their babies. How dare they not listen to Herman!

I’m going to call it flat out – Herman Cain is a racist. I can say that because I know if a candidate Barack Obama even began to suggest anything like this, the right wing would be saying the same thing and rightfully so. Could you imagine if President Obama came out today and said that they are lowering the retirement age of blacks by 10 years? Rush Limbaugh and most on the right would be screaming discrimination. Limbaugh would go as far to call it reparations. If you don’t believe that then you are either delusional or flat out lying to yourself. Same thing would go if Planned Parenthood said they were closing all clinics in black neighborhoods. The screams of racism from the right would be deafening and again Limbaugh would classify it as genocide against the white people.

Of course with the obvious show of racism from Cain the “liberal” media is relatively silent. I just wish Obama would go out and make the same kind of claims to show the bias from the right and then retract it by saying “got ya!” Of course that wouldn’t work either as the media and right would never talk about the “got ya” part, so it’s better that don’t happen.
