I wake up and turn on the TV. There is Morning Joe and Chuck Todd going on about Michael Steele. Todd says that Steele has to be careful or he will risk being as ineffective a party leader as Howard Dean.

What?

Howard Dean’s 50 state strategy is highly attributed to massive wins by Democrats in 2006 and 2008. I bet Steele would just love to have both cycles under his tenure become pickups for his party.

I still don’t know why so many people, especially some lefty bloggers, act like Todd is some great political mind. He is a total hack and this isn’t the first time I pointed that out.
