Looks like the Democrats have recruited another veteran to serve in Congress:

PENNSYLVANIA. Dems have recruited another top notch candidate to place
another Congressional seat in play. Navy Admiral Joe Sestak — who retired
last months after 31 years in the military — has announced his candidacy
against ten-term Congressman Curt Weldon (R) in the CD-7 race. Sestak, who
has a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard, is the former
Deputy Chief of Naval Operations and a former high-ranking National Security
Council staff member

For the military supporting Bush and the Republicans so much, how come the
Democrats have so many more veterans running than the Republicans do? Perhaps
this is the fallout from swift boating.
