John Ensign just said on Meet the Press that the states aren’t hurting and there won’t be any teacher or firefighter layoffs. That statement right there should qualify right up there with “the foundation of our economy is strong”. The Republicans are clueless to what is happening in the economy and instead want ways to make the rich get richer. This should amount to treason.
