Colorado Republican Party Chairman Dick Wadhams has decided to call it quits in his re-election bid for state chair:
“I have loved being chairman, but I’m tired of the nuts who have no grasp of what the state party’s role is,” Wadhams told the Post.
Wadhams, who has been chair since 2007, was considered a rising star in the GOP. The “nuts” he’s referring to is the Tea Party crazies.
When we talk about a civil war within the GOP, this is exactly what we mean. A divide is seriously growing between the GOP and the faux party they created. Now they have no control over it and it will end up costing them dearly. Of course for our side, this is great news and even better entertainment.
