This correction from the WaPo takes the cake:
A Nov. 26 article in the District edition of Local Living incorrectly said a Public Enemy song declared 9/11 a joke. The song refers to 911, the emergency phone number.
I didn’t see the original article and it now has removed the reference. On top of that the WaPo blocks caching so I can’t find caches on archives.org or Google.
The author of the article should really be ashamed at this. It shows what happens when you have writers who put assumption above facts.
