London Mayor Ken Livingston, in an article by
Reuters
today, said that he believes western foreign policies and the United State’s
early ties to Osama bin Laden are fueling the bombings in his town. Finally we
find a local politician that can see beyond the Bush propaganda and into the
truth, something not common here in the US.

People here at home seem to have forgotten that Osama was
our tool. We made him and used him to fight the Soviets during the Cold War when
they were trying to occupy Afghanistan. We found a deep lying ally hiding within
his hatred for infidels, and we exploited it to our fullest. The problem is this
tool backfired. When we set camp in Saudi Arabia to fight the first gulf war,
Osama new that once the infidels came they wouldn’t leave. Of course he was
right.

We continued keeping a presence in the region throughout
all the nineties. The prediction that the prophet Mohamed made was in fact
coming true. This was the fuel needed to enrage Osama’s hate towards us and also
recruit more to his cause.

We proved the fact even more by going into Iraq and
liberating the people from Saddam. We did that over two years ago and still we
stay in the region with no signs of leaving.

The fact is, we have strategically placed military bases
around the world. Most are there to protect our interests in oil. This shows the
greed that the US has and the extremes it will go to in order to protect it.

When Osama attacked us on 9/11, it was really no surprise
that he would now come here to wage large scale attacks. We now have a President
that can be considered Osama’s own nemesis. George Bush comes from the oil
industry, and hated Saddam Hussein. That spelled out perfect reasons to attack
Saddam.

Perhaps the motivations of our President are the reasoning
behind the 9/11 attacks. Osama attacking us would guarantee a counter attack
against Saddam in the not to distant future. This brings the infidels into the
region even more, there by reaffirming the prediction made by Mohamed. This
provides a great recruiting tool for al Qaeda.

The fact is the mayor of London is hitting the nail on the
head. He realizes what is causing this grow in terrorism and a destabilization
in the entire world. We need more people in power like Ken Livingston, ones who
realize for every action there is a reaction!
