An investigative division of the Pentagon has decided to turn the
investigation of the no-bid contracts for Iraq, which were awarded to
Halliburton over to the Justice Department for a possible criminal probe. The

Also in the land of Halliburton, Glenn Powell, a former subcontract
administrator for Halliburton, was sentenced to 15 months in prison and ordered
to pay $91,000 in restitution for kickbacks he received from an Iraqi owned
company in Iraq. Mr. Powell pleaded guilty to the charges in August. You can

These items should add substantial weight to the Democrats arguments over the
Iraq War. One constant argument has been with the vice-President’s dealings with
Halliburton and how much money he stands to make from the Iraq War.
