We got another taste of Bush’s typical partisan attacks in his speech today when he had to make that statement claiming Democrats will raise taxes if they win.

This pisses me off to no end. When we bitch about Bush we get told that “he is our President too”. Well he sure doesn’t act like it. He uses every single press conference to make partisan attacks and that is what is dividing this country further. No other President has used their on-camera time to constantly attack the opposing party like Bush does.

Even Charlie Gibson said the partisan attack is “common with a Republican President”. Honestly I must disagree. I do not remember Bush 41 or Reagan making so many attacks against Democrats while doing press conferences. Clinton didn’t do it. Bush is exhibiting a new tide in Presidential politicking, a tide that is dangerous to our nation.

When Bush made his victory speech in 2004 he vowed to heal a very divided nation. Since that time, what has he done to do this? The answer – NOTHING. He has further polarized this nation and the victim of that is America. America is so divided it is sickening. How much longer before people don’t even consider themselves Americans, but rather Democrats, Republicans, Pro-Gay, Anti-Gay, etc.? That time is coming near and that is another sign America is lost.
