Now that the war-mongering lunatics of the right-wing are preparing their latest in viscous attacks, murthalied.com, we find out that Murtha has been telling the truth all along:

The U.S. military charged a soldier with voluntary manslaughter on Sunday for shooting an unarmed Iraqi man in February, the latest of several such cases to come to light in recent weeks.

The military said in a statement that Specialist Nathan Lynn was also accused of obstructing justice, along with a second soldier, for conspiring with a third who prosecutors say placed an assault rifle by the body in an apparent cover-up attempt.

The third man had left the army since the incident, near a U.S. base at Ramadi, west of Baghdad, on February 15 but the second, Sergeant Milton Ortiz, was charged with obstruction of justice, and separate counts of assault and making threats.

The military was never planning on investigating these incidents. It took Jack Murtha to stand up and make noise before they would investigate. Murtha did so to protect the soldiers over there, who are following the rules and trying to survive. The soldiers who are acting as ruthless killing machines, like these, are the ones who need punished and it is the duty of the Pentagon to insure that each incident is looked at very carefully and fully punished. When they don’t then more of the innocent soldiers become the targets in a nasty game of vengeance.

Thank you Jack Murtha for standing up for our nation, it’s people, our soldiers and the people of Iraq. Let people start sites saying that you lied, we know the truth. The cowards who start these sites are the same people that are too chicken-shit to go and fight for their nation.
